Uniform

Uniform
We believe there is a direct connection between children's appearance and their attitude to school, so we strongly encourage the wearing of school colours: red, black and white. Sweatshirts, polo shirts, t-shirts and fleeces embroidered with the school logo are available at a reasonable price from the school office or from the online shop.

Winter uniform:
  • Red sweatshirt/cardigan (preferably with the Worlingworth logo),
  • White or red polo short or shirt
  • Black skirt or trousers, white or black socks
  • Black shoes. Please note that plimsolls and boots are not appropriate as school shoes.

Summer uniform:
  • Boys may wear shorts and girls may wear a red checked summer dress.
  • Red sweatshirt/cardigan (preferably with the Worlingworth logo),
  • White or red polo short or shirt
  • Black skirt or trousers, white or black socks
  • Black shoes. Please note that plimsolls and sandals are not appropriate as school shoes.
Summer uniform may be worn from the beginning of the Summer term until October half term.

Shoes should be black and socks or tights white, black or grey.

In particular we do not allow the wearing of jeans, tracksuits, casual shorts, boots, trainers and clothing not in school colours.

For safety reasons please do not send your child to school in shoes with high heels, platform soles, or open toed sandals.

Children are not allowed to wear jewellery or badges in the interest of safety. If they have pierced ears they may wear studs, but these will need to be removed for PE and swimming. Children with long hair should have this tied back in such a way that it will not interfere with their work.

We positively encourage children to wear jumpers and polo shirts with the school logo.

All PE kit should be named and kept in a bag on your child’s peg.
